(By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.! Auckland, February 6. The visit of Mr. W. F. Massey, and Mr. F. Mander, M.P., to the north' ; has so far been in tho nature of a; triumphal progress. Each' evening in the centres where they stop, the public hall is crowded to meet the Leader of the Oppositiou, and northern settlers ara showing them all possible attention. On Thursday they were taken out to see Kaikohe, which, by many people, is looked upon as likely to be a big city when, the' Native lands aro settled and railwava and Toads are made. On Friday they were taken round AVhangaroa Harbour in. a launch, and on Saturday they went to< the cable station at Doubtless Bay. Oa Saturday jiisht Mr. Massey spoke in £h«f Public Hall at Jlangonui.
