WELLINGTON BROTHERHOOD.
The Wellington Brotherhood met at the Druids' Hall yesterday afternoons Mr. J. Kershaw- presided. The president (tho llev. E. 0. Blamircs) gavo an address on "Humbugs." Ho stated that tho humbug is met with ' in every walk of life. He is an annoyanco to tradesmen by delaying tho settlement of his accounts, whilo at the same' time' ho will, expend , money needlessly ..in useless directions. There were people who never intended to fulfil promises, while others accepted* positions' knowing that they were unablo-to satisfactorily fill them. Tho'speaker also referral to certain aspects of' tho trade "'in ' patent ■ medicines. Tho secretary announced that tho Hon. George Fowlds would give' an address next Sunday on his visit to South Africa.
