■The Stratford 'Tost" states that Mr. Peter Hancock,'of that district, who is at present in England, has, on behalf of himself and two other Stratford Jersey breeders,"bought;a young bull-, in Jersey, 'which is. claimed to bo of splendid . pedigree .' Not much information has yet come.to hand regarding Mr. Hancock's purchase, but it is .known that the bull is by. Noble of Oaklands. which is claimed to be tho best bull on the'island, and realised £400 when he changed hands.recently. Mr. Hancock was well introduced to people in Jersey, and had the valuable assistance
of Mr. Porree, owner of Noble of Oak- ' lands',, in helping him to mako a selection from the numerous fine animals . on offer, and in view of that fact something good can be lookcdifor. The darn of Mr. Hancock's purchase is also a good animal, winning'the reserve champion ticket of tho island of Jorsoy last :year. Tho hull will .'leave England at the end'of this mouth.
