An inqnest was held to-day touching the death of Charlotte Sarali Cash, the victim of the recent HelensviSh; tragedy. Kdith May Torbet, sister 0£ deceased, stated that she and some otlijr relatives were at the Cashs' house on Christmas Day, and they all seemed to he on good terms. Mr. Cash was at the'table, but did not eat any dinner. At about 5.20 p.m. he came into the kitchen, and said that he was going to town in the morning with the lioys. Deceased answered, "All right," and, shortly afterwards, she went into her bedroom to change her clothes, and, Inter, Cash also went into the bedroom.' Then witness heard a scream, anil deceased, calling out her (witness's) name. The door was burst open, and, when witness entered the room, sne saw her sister crouching by the bed bleeding. She had a wound .Tight across 1 - the throat, and she never spoke again* Cash was lying across the bead of the' bed, and he also had a wound in. liis j throat. After hearing further evidence, the jury returned the following: "We find, that Charlotte Sarah Casli came by her death by having her throat cut by the. hand of Alfred Albert Cash, her hu&-' band."
