RAGGED SCHOOL DINNER.
A WELCOME IN AUSTRALIA. Dy Telegraph—Press Association—Conyripht. London, January 6. Twelve hundred Bagged School children were entertained at a, "Sunbeam" dinner at the Guildhall. Tho Lord Mayor (Sir T. V. Strong), Mr. Kirkpatrick (Agent-General for South Australia), and Sir E. Beachcroft spoke* Mrs. Kirkpatrick and her daughters were present. Sir George Keid (High Commissioner for Australia) telegraphed :—"lf as you grow you do not find room in Britain, there will always bo a welcome for you in Australia, the land of sunbeams and prosperity." - - ■ >
