Tho Lord Mayor (Sir T. V. Strong), Mr. Kirkpatrick (Agent-General for South Australia), and Sir E. Beachcroft spoke* Mrs. Kirkpatrick and her daughters were present. Sir George Keid (High Commissioner for Australia) telegraphed :—"lf as you grow you do not find room in Britain, there will always bo a welcome for you in Australia, the land of sunbeams and prosperity." - - ■ >
