LEICESTERSHIRE SOCIETY.

There was a-good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Leicestershire Society last evening. Mr. Babbitt occupied the chair.- 'The election'of' officers for the ensuing half year took place. A committee, consisting of Messrs. C. Pawley, W. ,A-. Campbell, Thomas Holt,-R. Garnett, and H. Saunders, was appointed to. deal with general business. Mr. J. Hunt was elected secretary, and Messrs Frank Saunders and Walter Perkins "appointed auditors. At the conclusion of the business a number .of those present gave musical selections and songs.
