IMPORTANT POST FOR COLONEB ROBIN. General • orders, issued,under the hand of the new commandant, Major-General Godley, were made available yesterday, evening. They deal primarily with .the personnel of the Dominion section l of Inn perial General Staff, which are' as foly low :— 'Director of Military Training and. Staff Duties.—Lieutenant-Colonel E: S. Heard (p.s.c.), Imperial General Staff. : Attached to General Staff.—Captain H. H. Browne (field services); Captain G. S.. Richardson (garrison and field ' artillery services); Captaiii* J. E. Duigan (engineer services). An addi- , tional officer, is to be appointed.' Director of Military Operations and Intelligence—Lieutenant-Colonel J. T. Burnett Stuart, D.S.O. (p.s.c.), Im- > perial General Staff. "v . ' * Adjutant-General and Inspector. General of the Forces.—Colonel Robin, C.8., 'N.Y.M. Assistant AdjutankGeneral.—To ba i- appointed. " ' . II)! Assistant Quartermaster-General.—.; ' To be appointed. " ■ The' subordinates departments under the) Adjutant and Quartermaster-General— medical," veterinary,' and'..military stores:: are : to remain for the present as thej ■■ now stand. ' It will be seen from the foregoing that Colonel Robin, who has occupied the position of Chief of the Staff, has .been al' lotted the important duties of Adjutant General (lately carried out by Colonel Tuson) and also Inspector-General _(aii office which has not been filled since Cow onel Davies left for England).
