There, was a good attendance at the Missions-to Seamen Institute last evening, when tho weekly ambulance meeting was held. Mr. James Moore, tho missioner, gave several demonstration's showing the methods of bandaging cuts, wounds, sprains, and. various other accidents. Ho also gave useful hints relating to health matters. .Competitions in . connection with ambulance . work were held-and by, sailors from ships in port. A bright musical and elocutionary programme was submitted by Miss Dix, the following contributing items: —Missesv.E. and'. M. Chapman, Luke, Brittain/F. and I. Dix,"and Mr. Kemsley. The performers wero. accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
