NOW IN WELLINGTON.
The Earl of Orford, who arrived hert yesterday from America by.the Aorahgi, is the fifth earl, of the line, and is a descendant of Sir Robert Walpole', the, famous Prime Minister of the reigns of George I and George 11, who was created Earl of Orford, Viscount Walpole and Baron of Houghton. Tho present Ear] is a nephew of tho fourth Earl and a son of the late Hon. Fredk. Walpole, Commander R.N., and M.P. He was bora in 1854, -married Louisa Melissa, daugh-. ter of Mr.D. 0. Corbin, of New York, in 1888,. and succeeded-to tho title in 1894. H'e'was'f6rmerly a sub-lieutenant in tho Royal Navy, and a; captain in the -Norfolk Militia, and has been attached to three foreign missions.-His country seat, is Wollertpn Park, Erpingham, .
