SLANDER ON THE REFORM PARTS RESENTED. • Jr ; uvi * At the meeting of the Women's Branch" of the Political Reform League last evening, the following resolution waa carried unanimously.— / - "That this meeting . expresses ite deep sympathy with Mr. Massey and - the members of the Reform- Party ' in Parliament in tho scurrilous and underhand attempt made by innuendo and inference to fasten on, them some share of responsibility for the publication of tho Black pamphlet: That ' . the members of the League feel, ia face of the facts disclosed during the discussion, in Parliament as to the authorship of this publication, that the aspersions sought to be enst oa 1 tho Reform Party are wholly ' contemptible and cowardly, and without tho slighest warrant, or justification." It was further decided that a copy dl the resolution should be sent to Me, Massey, and also to. the press Jos publication.
