' White Lie has been retired from tho ' race tracks and has been sent on a visit > to Field Battery. The black mare had a '• particularly hard time when racing on the flat. Lord Kelvin is not to fulfil liis Feilding Stakes engagement, but, all going well, tho Multiiorni coit will accompany Iranui to tho Woodvillo meeting. A peculiar circumstance in connection with tho Feilding meeting is that not a single horse from Trentham will bo racing there. On tho following week the stables of J. Lowe, W. Davies, and J. Ayers will havo representatives at tho Woodvillo meeting.
