REGISTRY OFFICES.
.". Sir,—On ,raore . than one , occasion . the workers of Njav;. Zealand have appealed to, the''Government to/abolish the registry: offices in the Dominion, but the wants of the workers have been ignored, so we must note this at the next election.' It is a great shame upon the Government that a worker has to pay for the right to work. It has'been submitted, to the Government that they should take over the registry offices. Then a poor toiler might have a chance for employment. There are hundreds of toilers walking the streets unable to- obtain employment through not having, money to pay the office fee. Trusting that ynu will.permit this letter a short space in your valuable paper,—l.am, etc., A PENNILESS WORKER. "Wellington, November 7, 1910. '
