LODGE MEETINGS.
The Island Bay Lodge of Druids held its fortnightly raeetiiig H in St.. Hilda's Club Room' on Thursday' riiglit, Bro. Stanhope presiding. Ono new member was proposed, and two wore initiated. The-half-yearly meeting and nomination of officers takes place on next lodge night. The Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., held its weekly session iu tlio Rechabite Chambers, Manners Street, Bro. Robert Reid, C.T., presiding . over a fair. attendance. . Greetings ''were received from the Loyal Nelson ' and Queen's Diamond Jubilee Lodges, and reciprocated. Reports from retiring officers showed the lodge to be in 'a. good financial condition. The programme for the ensuing quarter was approved of by the lodge. The following officers were installed by,Bro. W. Johnston, D.1.C.T.: —C.T., Bro. G. A. Petherick; secretary, Sis. Campion; treasurer, Bro. C. S. Kelly; Marshall, Bro. Hearle; Marshall Deputy, Sis. Jensen; Sentinel, Bro. M'Kcnzie; Registrar, Bro. C. S. ICelly.; V.T.. Si?. S. Atkinson; financial secretary, Sis. L. Richards; Chaplain, Sis. Harding; Guard. Bro. Hampton; assistant secretary, Sis. M. Petherick; pianist, Sis. P. Richards; P.C.T., Bro. R. Eeid. Votes of thanks to installing officers and visitors were carried by acclamation. Thero will be a "proverb competition" next week.
