WELLINGTON COLLEGE
ANNUAL SPORTS CARNIVAL. A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. Favoured with beautiful weather, the annual sports carnival at .Wellington College, held yesterday, was a great success. There was a large attendance of parents and friends, and the results of the morning's events provided at least one new record—in the high jumping event for boys under 16— B. Harris/with a jump of sft. 4in., beating the previous college record (M. E. Stewart, 1907, 4ft. lOlin.). The following are' the results of the various events of the day:— High Jump (open).—W. F.
