It would-be .well .if, as a matter of simple .justice to-.those who. give financial support to -the society,'the conductor, who. also is the head and frontoof, tho : wholo> organisation, made arrangements ..whereby honorary: members could'reserve J seats; ..Under .'existing .conditions;'if 'they (come to the concert hall any- time, r after,.7.3o 'p.m.; are' forced, to take'.wkatever.' se'at.-'happens'to, belei'ir uhpcchpiedii- whilst the; best' positions .are • bften> h'eldv-by small iboys' and; girls. The: opening "Taricredi," by Rossini, was tastefully'. rendered, .the. piano; and forte, passages being' .well-marked, and the climax being fairly good.. Selections' from "The Casino Girl," "Narcissus" from "Water,-Scenes," "Spanish , Dance," "Morning,.
