M'Kenzie, Minister ior Lands in Victoria, who, with Dr. Mead (Victorian irrigation expert), has visired Italy an<l Britain, with the object of securing settlers : for the irrigation settlements in Victoria, addressed an influential gathering "of business men and members of the London Chamber of Commerce. He detailed Victoria's resources and tho desirability of British emigrants settling in that State. The irrigation, farms wero, he said, healthy and enjoyable, and were also tho places to make money. . The Agont-deneral for Victoria, Sir J. W.
