AND STILL HALE AND ACTIVE. Amongst. the residents ot Ureymouth (says our local correspondent) is an old lady, relict of Jo'.hua Osborne, who, fifty or more years ago, was the largest horsedealer in Christchurch. On Jlay 6 last Jlrs. Osborue celebrated her 102 nd birthday, and she- is still hale ami active. Mrs. Osborne is a native of King's County, Ireland, and remembers that when as a child she nnived on Victoria with her parents Melbourne consisted of bul one bark slab hut, 'whereas it is now one of the foremost cities of the Empiro.
