During a Charity Congress Madame Zaszlavska, a Russian 'delegate, drew a dagger, and rushed at. tho chairman. On being foiled, she wounded, a neighbour, exelairuiiig: "Ho prevented mo from speaking." Madame Zaszlavska was then overpowered.
She. was found to be mentally deranged, and was sent to a hospital. She had formerly attempted tho lives of M.' Casimir-l'erier, a former French, President, and Herr . Nunsterberg, the Burgomaster of Berlin.
