Mr. Fibs Mergcnttialcr, soil of the millionaire bend ol' the Mergenthaler Linotype Company, together with his wife and a jjarty of three others, was the victim of a terrible motor accident. Whilo motoring at Cape May, New Jersey, Mr. Mergenthaler crossed a Tailway track at a high speed, and collided with a passing train. The motor-car was smashed to fragments, and its live occupants killed instantly, their bodies being- carried about a hundred yards along the track by the engine.
