New Zear land. Councillor Fletcher eaiil the Finance Committee should have had the courage of its opinions, and reported what it had done in the matter. The committee had passed a resolution to prohibit the' uko of the Town Hall for the pictures. Tho 1 Mayor said that - that resolution was not confirmed by the council. The matter was referred back to the committee, who had passed no resolution since, except one to receive the letter.
