Dance in Hill Street. Dr. and . Mrs. Fullarron, of H.-JI.S. Pioneer, who have been staying at "Kenllii'oi'th/' in Hill Street,' for. some months, were entertained ou Monday night at a. very pleasant farewell dance" by the oilier guests of- the house. .The avenue up to the house was covered in with Hags .and lighted with Chinese lanterns, and 'the balcony 'was enclosed with 'pink and whito draperies; while hall and stairway wore festooned with lycopodium, ■ and everywhere there were Chinese lanterns giving colour to.: the scene. .Among the guests present, numbering a hundred and more, wore Dr. and Mrs. h'ullai-ton, the -Misses Collins (2), Miss Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Burt, Mr. and Mrs. Corrigan, Mrs. Meecham, Mrs. Taggart, the Misses Simpson- (3), -Mrs. and Miss Lougton, Miss Devine, Miss Isaac, Mlsa Orami Miss Williamson,.'Miss L. Hannah, Mr. and Mrs/ Leslie, and several officers of H.M.S. Pioneer. Tea in Hawkestone Street. \ Mrs. Dalziell gave n v.efy enjoyable "at home" yesterday afternoon at the home of -her mother, Mrs. Grace, in Hawkestone Street, when a large number of guests were present. The rooms,.were filled with beautiful spring' flowers, and in the dining-room, where tea wris served, the table was'decorated with , yellowwattle. During, the afternoon .a string band, stationed in tho music room, played during the afternoon. ; " Among other guests present were: Mrs. Lan Duncan, Lady Ward, Mrs. Newman, Mrs. Johnston,. Sirs.
