At the National Rifle Association mooting at Bisley, the following was tho result of tho shooting for tho Kolaporo Cup, seven shots, at 300, 500, and GOO yards:— Mother Country 798 Canada 796 Australia 777 Other - scores were: —Guernsey, 770; fourth; Malay States, 7G4; South Africa, 756; India, 745; Singapore, 742. Individual scores were: —Grant Boyd, 100; Armstrong, 99; Burgoyne, 98; Wiilimas, and Cutler, 97; l'ilbeani, 95; and Goy, 91.

The light was perfect.

[The Kolapore Cup last year was won by Canada. The scores were:—Canada, Vos; Transvaal, 75G; Natal, 750; Mother Country, 742.]

(3) The amounts apportioned to be awarded by otticers commanding districts in small prizes, according to tho results obtained in tho annual course of target practice, arc as under:—First-class shots, 50 per cent.; second-class shots, 30 per cent.; recruits, £0 per cent.

For the year ending on February 28, 1911, the conditions under which Government prize medals will be competed for by mounted riiles and infantry will -be as follows:—The gold medals for tho best shot, and the gold and silver medals for Hie next best snot, in each island will he awarded to tho men making the.highest aggregate scores in each island in the marksmen's practices. The district silver medals will be awarded to the men making the highest aggregate score in marksmen's practices in each district, provided the man making the highest score is not a winner of either island medal, in which event the district medal will be awarded to . t'ne next highest scorer. Ties to be decided in manner described in the rules of the Dominion Rifle Association.
