On thelOJte hand the fine fruit shops m tho good streets get groat prices-green peas, Is Id per lb. M peck); French beans, 2s por lb.; pears. 8d l<> IM. each; Hobirt Bpplos, 4<3. and 6d. each I , 1W sma U tomatoes ticketed in good shops 2d. each, bsck street shops, just as good, 3d. per lb."
