TREMBATH AND SANSON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Gore, Juno 20. Speaking to an "l-Insign" representative this morning, W. F. Trcmbath, tho champion runner, said he was prepared to moot Sanson over three distances;—3oo, I 500, and (iOO yards—for .£SO aside. Ho I has deposited «£lO with J. Virgo, secre-' tary of the Gore Athletic Socioty, as a proof of bona fides in the matter. Trcmbath is willing to run at Hastings if .£lO is allowed for expenses, and he stipulates that the matches should take place in October or early in November. Tho Gore runner also intimated that he was prepared to meet anyone in New Zealand over a' quarter or half a mile for ,£SO asido or more. 11l reference to the foregoing challenge to Sansou, Trcmbath is also prepared to fuii anyone in Australia over 880 yards tor it purse and side wager of .£SO, up to J.'t(H). He will take or allow .£ls expenses.
