Herr Heinsken, chairman of directors of tho North German Lloyd Steamship Company, has arrived to make inquiries, into trade conditions generally in Australia so far as they affect his company. In an interview, Herr Heinsken said that the trade between Australia and Germany was very satisfactory,'and was yearly increasing. ■ Tho idea ot German aggression was ridiculous. England was Germany's best customer and vice versa. Why, ho asked, should the two countries go to war with each other? Such a policy would bo ruinous and suicidal.
