TRAMWAY SERVICE.
PKOPOSED EXTENSION. A movement has been started to obtain an extension of the tramway service up Majoribanks Street. A deputation was to have waited on the Tramways Committee of tho City Council yesterday • 011 tho matter, but it is understood that tho members of the deputation were not ready to deal with tho matter then, and it is expected that thoy will wait upon tho City Council at its meeting on Thursday night.
