' The Kaiser warmly thanked Herr Dernburg (who ' has just resigned the position of German Minister for. the Colonies) for his services, and decorated him. His Majesty has appointed Horr_ Lindequisl to succeed Herr Dernburg.' [The Berlin correspondent of "The Times" says that Herr Dornburg is standing aside because he dislikes the present regime. Those who are -left behind can hardly applaud lus decision, as they are aware that he is departing not ill order to relieve the situation, but Ijecause he thinks - that the situation cannot last.]
