The barometer has been very low and unsteady in tho south, though it lias risen everywhere during the past 24 hours. Strong westerly winds and rough weather has been experienced generally. Present indications arc for a further rise in pressure, with strong southerly winds, cold and showery weather, a:; a preludo to fine weather everywhere.
