A PETER PAN STATUE.
Peter Pan is to live for ever in Kensington Gardens, says an English paper, little boys and dainty girlies as yet unborn, children of the babies now taking their daily airing in the glades and pleuBannces of Kensington Gardens will find a more or less real Peter Pan when they .come to tie questioning age, for someone, who name is not to be divulged, has given a statue of tho boy "who will never, grow up," and amid elves and dear little folks who will always want to hear- his story, he will live through the ages. One wonders whether the children of other generations will have the same imagination as David and his contemporaries. There is no knowing what the children of our grandchildren will be Eke, but taking one consideration with another, one feeb almost sure that they will be practical, hard-headed, matter-of-fect from their very cradles.
