HARRIERS.

■ THE WELLINGTON CLUB. ' All things considered, Saturday's outing of the Wellington Harriers was a very satisfactory one Twenty-five members turned out to a very beneficial run from the, Karori tea rooms. The cold southerly, swept over the hills, and carried away all siguvoiilit trail laid by C. Rowberry and C. Salek. C. Lamberg acted as pacemaker, with DeputyCaptain W. Press as whipper-in. Captain Wilton kept a watchful eye on the novices, who, by the way, are showing signs of being.well up' to the standard of previous runners. It is v<sry gratifying to record the fact that this whistle has not yet been used for a lagging novice at any of the club runs.. The hit, covered about eight miles, and passed through some ideal harrier country,. but the latter part of the course was over ths, hills, Tho finishing sprint resulted in 8.. E. Bust winning from W. Charters, with W. Press close up, after an interesting sprint over . 150 yards. The club mil be the guests of Mr. H. A. Lamb, Coromandcl Street, next Saturday, and members are expected to roll up in.strong force.

BROOKLYN CLUB RTJN. There was a'good muster of members of the Brooklyn Harriers for the weekly run. on Saturday afternoon. The hares, S. Mtirray and F. Delaney, laid a trail from' Thorndon Baths over tho hills to W.idestown, through Wilton's Bush, and thence along the ridge toward Crofton, then down the spur into Kaiwarra, and along the road back to starting point.
