DR. HENRY'S MISSION.
In. connection,.with Dr. Henry's :mission,' a"special".service for caildrei wis lield yesfoday'"afternoon in. ' the .Town Hall. It was a very largo and un'usaal audience that Dr. Henry faced when : he stepped on to the platform, : about 2500 children being present, their ages rang-' ing from.six to sixteen. Dr. Henry gave an interesting address on the inan of who slew a lion in- the midst, of a pit in time of snow, and he pointed; out to -.his. .ypjing .'andiencel'that".iJaby had "such' lions to "kill as temper arid other hindrances to the'religious life,', He concluded 'with an appeal for a'decision-,-. for Christ, an appeal to which several hundred children responded i by rising in their places. During the service a.solo was sung by Mr. Potts. . ■ ,
' The evening meetings continue to be very largely attended, and last .:nieht there Were 1200 people, in .the Town Hall when Dr. Henry took as the subject. of his address the story of the'paralytic at, the pool of Bethesda. It was a simple evangelistic address, ending, as all ,Dr. Henry's speeches do, with a personal appeal- to , unbelievers.' Mr..Potts sang as ■ a solo,- 'vWonldvYoU:Believe?" ■■■",:-'■. :! ; To.-raorrow; .afternoon Dr.. Henry'-'ad- : dresses two ..meetings, in the Town Hall, tho first; at 2.30, being for women only, when" he ■will speak on the .power .of. womanhood, and the second, at' four,, which is'to be a mass meeting for men. In the evening; at 8.30, there will be a great afterohurch service, which 'it is expected will be very largely attended.
