TOUNG SOLDIERS' CUP. \ext Saturday afternoon will bo fired at. Trentham tho first competition for tha Young Soldiers' Challenge Cup, open to. six-men tv?,ms of recruits from any ,adult company in the Wellington. Bine Battalion, trained under non-commissioned officers during 1909-10. Tho match will ba fired under service conditions, and is exciting keen interest, entries coming in The' final stage of the Battalion Shield Match will also bo fired—ten. shots at GOO yards. . To-morrow a detachment of cadets from Wellington College will proceed to Trentham under Captain Jlatnieson, for a dav's practice at the targets.
