VICTORIA COLLEGE BAZAAR.
The sale of tickets for the Victoria College--Bazaar,'/which, is to bo opened by Mrs. Newman, the Mayoress, at ,3 j£m. on Friday next, has been exceedingly brisk, and it is anticipated that tho holding capacity of tlip collego gymnasium, in which the fair is being : held, w*il) bo taxed to tbo utmost on both days. Parcels of'goods of'nil descriptions aro daily arriving from students and their friends living in tho country, and there is every indication that tho stalls will be particularly well st'icked with saleable articles, both useful and ornamental. Visitors to tbo bazaar will have no difficulty in contriving to find a way of disposing of their sparo silver, and the devices to tie oumloved jn attracting the sixpences and shillings are, as countless as .thev aro original. There will be an exhibition of fancy dancing each afternoon, and for the ovenimxs a concert has been arranged in which Severn I prominent local artists, including Miss Mabel Hardingo Maltby, and Mr. A. W. Newton, have kindly consented to assist.
