The programme also includes comic items,- exhibition of fancy swimming, and a water polo ?i at & ,v lucll^ 6 Club and the Wellington Club .will try conclusions.

The annual competitions, for medals offered by the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, took place this afternoon. Four girls under 14 ..years started, Tni Bain winning. the four races in times which , showed her to be the best schoolgirl representative yet brought forward. Her times were as follow:— 25yds., 17 4-ssec.j previous record, 19sec. ,luty i yards, 42j«ec.; previous record, 45sec. Soyenty-five yards, 69 l-ssec.; previous record, 73sec. One hundred yards in lOtsec.; previous record, 109 sec.
