HUTT AND MAKARA REPRESENTA- '•''■' v TIVES. Hospital Board nominations for the combined district of .Makara county, Onslow borough, and Johusonville Town Board closed'yesterday, with Mr. G. R. Hislop, returning -officer.- The only candidate .was ; Mr. F. T.. Moore, whose - nominators were Messrs. F. H. Hawkins and G. Monk. ; Mr. Moore is therefore elected. He is chairman of ,the ..Makara County Council, and a member of ■ the existing governing body of-the Wellington Hospital. •. ' . • . ■ Mr. W. Galloway, chairman of the Hutt County Council (who' was nominated several days ago), is the only candidate for the combined district of Hutt county and Upper Hutt Town Board. The time for receiving nominations expired yesterday, and Mr. Galloway was declared elected. .'' '■ • In connection with'the Hospital and Charitable, Aid Board election, to be held next Wednesday, the names of Wellington candidates and the polling-places are officially notified in an advertisement.
