' Last evening, jit the To Aro Balis, two races in connection with the schoolboys' and girls' ohampiohsbips were got off. Results were as follow!—SOS's'.race, 25 yards —P. H. Freeth, 1; A. M'Carlie, 2; and H. Silver, 3. Tipae, 16 2-ssec. Girls' race, 75 yards M. M'Cab'e, 1; F.: Hicks, 2; C. Jones, 3. Time, 79sec. To-morrow evening the final distances for the schoolboys' , and girls':-championships will be got off, ' The • distances will. be. 100 yards • in. each case. . Last evening, at fte Te Aro baths, the Y.M.C.A., Swimming Glub held a 50yds. championship race.. The race was won by'J. Mawby, with R. Baker second, and IV. Chartrps . third. Time, 31 2-ssec. . This evening,' at Te Aro -Baths,: and in connection with'.the W.A.S.C. sports, the Wellington B heats will be swum off. The finals take place next Saturday.
