The sales have been postponed owing to fog. ' The N.ew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company,/ Limited, havo'received tho following- cablegram from their London house, under date January 27:—"Wool:. The market is strong for merino wool,, and fine sorts aro dearer. For crossbreds tho market is active, thoush slightly lower prices are offering for medium and coarso greasy."
