I ' "I ha\o lately heard," says a writer in tho "Ladies' Pictorial," who has evidontly hoard rumours o£ Mr Bailey's achievements, "somo curious accounts of a sot, or sect, of peoplo named 'Aborts,' who claim to bo ablo to receive material things in somo mysfenous way resombling tho principle of Marconi telegraphy. Tho sondor and receiver, it is said, must bo 'attuned' to each other, and they aver that such articles as embroideries, small pieces of furniture; and evon animals,' hayo boon'dispatched from India and rccened in Australia, their coming being notified beforehand to tho receiver, and witnessed by him alono, though some of the articles have been seon by in- ' dependent witnosses after thoir arrival. This amazing story lacks further detail so far, and I shall loot with interest for any revolationa that may follow " This merely provoi that it is sometimes easier to convoj domatcrialised animals from India to Australia invisibly through thin air, than to convey news aci curatoly to England.
