' ' Evidence was givon at length by tho owners of tho articles produced > Acting-Detective Hammond gave ondonce as to the finding of various articles, and added that, at Mi. Wdtlorman'e residence at Houghton Bay, ho found certain .emarks written on the back of a picture The inscription was in bluo pencil, and 1, opened with the drawing of a club. 'jDeveroaux on November 10, and Stcckbridge and Coulson on tho following day. Each accused pleaded gnilty to each charge, and all wero committed , to the Supremo Court for sentence.
