THE WOOL MARKET.
Latest reports from all ' manufacturing centres (says "The Pasfcoralists' Review") report a quiet, but Btcady market and good consumptive demand, and though' medium and inferior wools have gone back somewhat since June, there is not likely to bo any serious decline.in values; in fact, a private cable just received by a well-known Australasian firm states that fn London there is a'good private inquiry for wool; with a prospect-of prices hardening. , This is good news-indeed on the eve of the Australasian selling season, and as a larger/ attendance, of; buyers than ever before will attend the Australian and-New Zealand sales, during the approaching season, prospects, for- producers are indeed encouraging. A continuance of present conditions should result in a tremendous .turnover at the local sales during the next six months.
