The ninth annual meeting of tlio New Zealand Daily Association was held this afternoon, the chairman of directors (Mr. Wesley Spragg) presiding. The chairman said the output for the- year had bcentho largest in the history of' the association, 4;371,9551b. of butter having' been manufactured, an increase of 794,0971b. over the previous j'car. The prices paid to shareholders had also been record oWs. Briefly, those had ■ been (all payments^included) one shilling and three-eighths of a penny per pound for all :butter-fat received from : all sources for August, and lljd. per pound for the usual creamery season for the largest' creamery supply, and tenpence and three-eighths of a penny for the smaUeit creamery supply. Tho average price paid, all told, over all creameries, had been 12.12 d. for winter supply, and 11.008 d! for spring to- autumn. 'Die company's property was now of a book value of £49,899. An insurance fund of £1800 had been accumulated, and a reserve fund provided of £3213.
