KAKARAMEA DAIRY FACTORY.
A recent Special meeting of shareholders of the Kakaramea Co-operative Dairy Company considered tenders for the purchase of portions of the / company's buildings and, plant. The buildings, plant,, machinery, and site, valued (exclusive of site) at £1226, was tendered for by the new Kakaramea Company at £850, of which £50 was intended to cover the cost of site. Other tenders for theAlton and Pctch Road and Manutahi properties were deferred for consideration until after the annual meeting, when it was hoped that the Alton Dairy Company would be in a position to make offers. The new Kakaramea Company.' s tender was accepted, on the motion of Messrs. Washer and Gibbs. T'io ,t-otal value of tho company's property ,at Kakaramea- and elsewhere was estimated at £3007 13s. 4d.
