For the losers! the most 'prominent players were:— MdcKny, Ilaase, M'Eldowney, and Nutter. Mr. Carver was referee. POST AND TELEGRAPH (6) V. Y.M.C.A. (2). The match between Post and Telegraph and Y.M.C.A. AVrts played on tho Basin Reserve. The F<>st and Telegraph team had much tli(j better-"of the game during the first half, which restitled in their scoring three goals—two being shot by Owens and one by Jones, while Topby put oh a goal for Y.M.C.A. In the second half play was very fast, and Jonc6 (2) and Owens scored for Post and Telegraph, while Shiptnn (1) scored for Y.M.C.A. PETONE A (2). \ . , A fast famo was played nt Petone yesterday between Huj Mai A and Petone A teams, the former wiping by .6,goals to 2. In the first spell pjay was very even. Hoy (Hu'i Mai) succeeded in shooting the first goal' .and' White scored a little later for Petone. Bigger scoring was done during the second half, when Garbes put on three goals, Turner one, and Hoy one-for Hui Mai. MTDwan also scored for Petone. The following played well for Hui Mai—:Huntcr, Mearns, Arthur, Garlics, and Duncan. For I'etone, M'Dowel, M'Ev,-an, and Ggodie were the most conspicuous. Mr. Sherwood was referee. ' PETONE B "(5) V. HUI MAI B (1). Petone B played a good game against Hni Mai I) on Kclbtime Park, yesterday J winning by S goals to 1. Goals were shot for Petone in the first half by Brunswick' (2) and Parant (1). In the second half Parant notched a goal for the wfliners, aiid Howe (1) and Jolinfon (1) scored for Hui Mai. Each teanr played with nine men a-side. Mr. A. J. Tayler was referee. LADIES* ASSOCIATION. , A. a meeting of delegates to the Ladies' Hockey Association met on Wednesday night .at the,' Y.M.C.A. Building to consider the question of setting the association in a sound financial position. ' . > Miss MacKellnr moved that a bazaar be held, and Miss Sexton seconded. Mr M'lnty.re moved as an amendment that a levy on the clubs should be made. Miss Fisher seconded. . Mr. BiU'deltin (seconded by Miss Staoe) moved a further amendment in favour of a dance."; ' Miss Cos', Miss Holnies, Miss .Tack, and Mr. Walton spoko to tho various motions. Most of the speakers being iif'fayour of holding a bazaar. Dn tho'motion being put, tho bazaar, was decided on by. a sme.ll majority.
