SEATOUN BOATING CLUB.
:The second annual meeting of the Seatoun Boating Club was held on Monday night. The report shows that during the past year' six new members have been elected, making a total of 30, and two new boats have been admitted to the shed. , ' Tho committee have been able to. pay off .£lO worth of debentures, and more.are 'expected to be paid off during the coming year, i The thanks of the club are- duo to several, debenture-holders, who donated the amount of interest duo to the club. Tho bal-ance-sheet for the year shows receipts amount: ing ,to; £>Q ss. 1'1» a« ( ' expenditure .£27 "17s. 2d., leaving a credit balance of £'i 7s. lid., whioh can be considered very satisfactory. During tho year tho shed was extensively used both as a boating,and bathing shed. The committee for the ensuing year was elected as follows:—Messrs. A. H.- Wright (chairman), C. Dempsey, W. M'Gill, H. E. Richards, V. J. Wright;'auditor, Mr. C. Hawson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. 0. H. Green. -
