SYDNEY UNIVERSITY TOTTE, Arrangements for tho tour of tho Sydney University football team, which is to visit' New Zealand next monthj are now made. Tho team frill consist of 22 players and a manager, and the itinerary of the tour is as follows:— Leavo Sydney August 21, arrive Wellington August 25, when the team will have tho:opporfcunity of witnessing the North v. South representative match, leave Wellington for Dunedin same day, and play Otago University August 28; play an Otago fifteen September 1; play New Zealand University representative team (first match) at Dunedin; September 4; play Canterbury College at Christchurch, September 8; play New Zealand University, representative team [6econd match), at Wellington, September 11; leave for Auckland September , 13; play Auckland University, September 15; play City. Olub (Auckland), September 18; leave for Syd-. o ey,' September' 20. •; RUGBY ENGAGEMENTS. ' Local Assooiatioli fixtures frill give way tomorrow to the Brown Shield contest between the Wellington and Canterbury representatives. The visitors bring a reputedly strong team, which, according to its supporters, . will -give Wellington, a strenuous afternoon's work. Taylor will be unable to; play for tho Wellington team on of an injury to his knee, and 'his place will bo taken by R. Gibson. Jackson will probably replace Bethell,' who has injured his fcxjt.
