At many fashionable London weddings colour ie admitted to a'very oonsider- ', sble extent. ' While satin ebannant gowns, embroidered with pastel shades and gold, have been fairly usual, a beautiful Irish bride was named in the palest green chiffon 'satin, the train showing an exquisite cmbroidery of gold shamrock. Last month, at the wedding of Lord Claud Hamilton's daughter, a big detachment of guards from . tho Great Eastern Railway, in which LordjHam- . ■ flton is interested, formed a novel if honour. Another unusual feature at this wedding was provided by the six bridesmaids, who wore charming gowns of pale grey satin, veiled with ninon. They woto long grey suede > gloves and block Gainsborough hats, tr:unned nith long pink phimes, held in places with pink satin bows. Magnificent bouquets oi pink roses woro carried, and it is quite boliovable that the bridesmaids coostitur,ed ' a "remarkably picturesque group.
