CIRCULATION NEARLY 6,000,000. ■ Tho Bible Society hold its annual mooting , in tho Queen's Hall in May,' Tho Marquis of Northampton presided. A summary of the annual report was presented by Rev. J. H. Ritson; 'During: tho year versions in fax fresh languages had been added, two belonging to Asia, two to Africa, and two lo Oceania.' The number of complote Bibles still stood at 105, but the Now Testament had '■> been completed in three additional version*, making in all 102. < Thore were ,211 other languages in which only some part of tie Testament had-been translated, making, in '■ all 418 different languages in w.hioh the BiMe Society has promoted too translation of some part of ; tho Scriptures. The year's issues . amounted to 5,934,711, smarter of a ' more than last year. The total rcoetpU amounted .to £238,040, tlio .expenditure tc: £237,041, leaving a'balancoaf £999.
