It appears that two men had a quarrel. a<s ii result of which a driver named David M'Call, 27 ye.ire of age, is said to havo been Btabbed eight times with a pocket knife. M'Oall was attended to bv Dr, M'Loan, who found wounds in tho head, side, and groin, and ordou'd the mnn'o removal to the hospital. The nan Mho is alleged to have inflioted tho wounds was arrested by Constablo Carmody, and he will bo biought'beforo tho S.M. Court this morning.
