Attention is. again . directed to the National Dairy Show of.-the lianawatu' and West' Coast A. and P. Association, Palmerston North, which)is' now looked upon as tho dairyman's oarnival of tho North Island. The date of the show is fixed for Juno 22, 23, 2i, and 25. The; prize-list has .been framed .'on very-' liberal 1 terms, and embraces fruit, ' vegetables, . farm roots, and ajricultural .seeds. In; each of these divisions Special points prizes: are also to be awarded, ranging 1 in'value from ,£1 Is. to £2 25., besides a cash prize for .£lO for collection of apples. , Other sections provided for are home, industries arid farmers separator and non-separator'.butter. Tho. public school'boy 'provides for a' nature study collection, in 'accordance with tho 'Education;'-' Board's - 6ylla-' bus, besides/ a class .for garden produce, with £23'i1l prizes ,and a. subsidy .of £'i -10s. -to .each school makihg: tin; exhibit..- is provided. -Collectors of dry. grasses, weeds,-and insepts will also find liberal provision' made for exhibiting •th« sanic. ;.Tho' poultry show alf the National Dairy Show' 'ia' always catered for;-with a liberal: prize list by the executive, the breeds oatered for being:—Utility poultry breeds and ducks, with selling claisos. for,'pairs and trios.
