/. The* first game ,'of lacrosse for the season was nlayed between Federal and Capital Clubs on the Bnsin Reserve on Saturday. The game resulted in a win for Capitals by 5 goals to i. Beth tennis were without the services of a few bf the old players, but. tho new players showed ?ood form and much ..promise. Penlington and Slurry,, for ,'Federals, made the defence of that team hard to penetrate, but the'forward line of Capitals,, by splendid combination and good stick work, at,times made their way through Webb, Saver, and Robinson were the most conspicuous players for; Federal, . .while . Fama, Hudson, M'Carthy, and O'Leary did good work for Capitals.\
